Creating a Multi-Branchable Document

This task explains how to create the document that will contain the bundle segments. The bundle segment belongs to a product document with electrical properties.
Open the DemoGS.CATProduct document.
Note that this document already contains a geometrical bundle.

  1. Click Multi-Branchable Document .

    A multi-branchable document is created under the active product.
    The Electrical Harness Assembly workbench automatically switches to the Electrical Harness Installation workbench and the Branch Definition dialog box appears.

    As you will first create a point that will be used to route the bundle segment, close the dialog box.
