Editing Component Properties

This task explains how to view and edit the properties of a component.
Open the Modify.CATProduct document from the samples folder.

  1. Right-click an item in the tree view and select Properties from the contextual menu.

    The Properties dialog box listing the attributes and attribute values of the selected component appears.

  2. Edit the object name and/or attribute values as desired.

  3. Click Ok when done.

Connected objects, if any, can also be viewed when you access component properties via the Properties command in the contextual menu.
