This task shows you how to view associations between equipment and cableways. | |

A cableway connects two pieces of
equipment and follows a certain path. Using this command, you can view
associations between the end of a cableway and the equipment. Associations
are created automatically based on the naming convention your site uses for
cableway and equipment connectors. The automatic association also links the
cable used in your 2D schematic so that the application knows which cable
to use.
A cableway can be a hanger, loft, path reservation or conduit.

1. | With your document open click the Associate
Cables button

The Cable Associations dialog box displays.
The upper-right portion of the dialog box shows the schematic from which your document was created. The specifications tree on the upper left displays the selected elements in the document. |
| 2. | Select what you want to display by clicking the down arrow below the schematic and selecting one of the elements, in this case equipment. | |
