This task will show you how to position distance and length dimensions (either generated dimensions or interactive dimensions) in a better way. These dimensions will be positioned on the active view exclusively. | ||

Open the
GenDrafting_part_ positioningdim.CATDrawing document.
In addition, select View > Toolbar > Positioning in order to display the Positioning toolbar in the workbench.

Click Dimension Positioning
The dimensions are automatically re-positioned.

If you want to analyze dimension
interferences, click Dimension Analysis
in the Analyze toolbar (or select Tools > Analyze >
Dimension Analysis). You will thus be able to visualize and manage
interfering dimensions. |
