Attached is a marketing brochure comparing the cost of ownership of the IBM p680, Sun UE1000 and HP's Superdome running Oracle 8i. The p680 cost of ownership is nearly half that of competitive systems with the same compute power. This is due to both the excellent price/performance of the p680 and to "processor based" software pricing. For details, see the attached brochure.
