AIX media refreshes are available to IBM customers at no charge. A media refresh includes the current AIX installation CDs and/or Bonus Packs. To order, call the IBM Boulder Refresh Center at (800) 879-2755. (Select option #2 twice). Provide the operator with your customer number and request the latest AIX install media or Bonus Pack.
Note: The media refresh is a good way to get the AIX 4.3.3 maintenance update on CD ROM. (Currently, Supportline ships the maintenance release only on tape, which can be a problem if your system doesn't have a tape) To apply the maintenance update from the AIX install CD, type smit update_all
